this is an oddly shaped connector. it is used to connect the blinker assembly to the main wiring harness. The connector was falling apart on the loom side and on the switch side there were 2 very loose pins. Basically I needed both the male and female side of the connector. Customer service was helpful determining the proper connector. I could have just spliced in something generic. but then when the time came to swap out the switch I would need to do the harness to match the connector. Obviously not the end of the world to do that. But just better to have the correct part if its available so repairs down the road are simpler
